Increase Visibility of and Accessibility to Student Senators

• Increase senator office hours to at least 5 hours per week 
• Increase to 7 hours per week during Annual Grant season, when funding confusion is at its peak
• Give students the opportunity to work alongside senators
  
  

As the Funding Manager for Stanford Student Enterprises, I’ve worked closely with student leaders navigating the VSO funding process, and I know firsthand how complex and frustrating it can be. I’m excited to bring this experience to the Undergraduate Senate to make funding more transparent, more accessible, and easier for every student organization.

International Students 

• Improving International Student Orientation experience

1. Provide clear resources for banking, housing and health insurance 
2. Offer in-person Q&A sessions during ALL 3 days of ISO
3. Provide an “arrival and settling down checklist” for all international students, personalized to their country of residence
4. Have well-funded events where students get to connect with faculty members, clubs and student organizations in an interactive way

• Sessions on internships, CPT/OPT and career services: chat with other International Students who can serve as Peer Advisors 

• Winter Break Shouldn’t Break the Bank

1. Partner with dining services to provide meals included in the stay, either through grab-and-go options or meal vouchers
2. Explore expanded on-campus housing options instead of costly hotel placements

Housing & Life on Campus

• Improve Quality-of-Life 

1. Create Student Registration Guide for Frosh+Transfers and host “Build Your Schedule” office hours before enrollment in collaboration with Academic Advising
2. Host free printing events at libraries, student centers, and dorms, especially during Midterms and Finals season
3. Improve in-dorm facilities by installing ergonomic chairs in dorm lounges & air purifiers in common areas and also providing reliable maintenance checks for stoves and other kitchen installments
