Hi! My name is Emma Muller, and I am running to be your ASSU Senator!
I am a Frosh and will be majoring in English and Philosophy. On campus, I am on Stanford’s Ethics Bowl team and a member of the ACLU. Off campus, I am a member of Amnesty USA’s National Youth Collective, where I have experience passing legislation focused on increasing youth representation in governance.
I have spent the past year as one of the Frosh Council Representatives, working to plan and execute Frosh events. I also co-wrote and presented a bill to pilot a Sophomore Class Council for the Class of 2028, which allowed me to experience the Senate legislative process.
My platform is based on advocating for reform within the ASSU Senate, protecting diversity and advocacy on campus, and developing opportunities for students to express concerns about life at Stanford. Here’s a breakdown of my platform:
