So, what makes me qualified to accomplish all of the things we want? Well, I’m glad you asked!
As a transfer student, I was a senator in my community college’s student government for two years.
There, I advocated for housing for homeless students, managed over a million dollars in funds, and worked for better food options, so I have a lot of experience representing fellow students and getting things done!
With that in mind, here are some more initiatives that I would love to bring to Stanford!
- Microwaves and breakfast in every dining hall
- Improving the experience of non-traditional students
-
More bike parking (e.g. removing abandoned bikes more quickly and installing more slots at busy areas)
- And optional minifridges in dorms!
