My name is Rahm Sheinfeld, and I'm running for ASSU Senate to create a more vibrant and active Stanford community.
You may know me as your favorite On Call Barista, an proud Brannerite, or just some loud guy at Llaga lunch. But either way, I'm ready to represent YOU 🫵
Here's how: 1. CREATE VIBRANT SPACES THAT ARE CONDUCIVE TO REAL CONNECTION
 - you might be asking "what does that even mean?"
     - focus on design and accessibility of outdoor spaces and their infrastructure
     - utilize the amazing and ample green spaces around campus
       - i'm talking benches, picnic tables, gardens, you name it
     - PICNIC SPOTS 📈 STUDY SPOTS 📈 NAPPING SPOTS 📈 REVEL IN THE FACT WE AREN'T AN EAST COAST IVY SPOTS (BOOO COLD SNOW BOO) 📈
     - BOOM now you spend more time outside = see more people = KNOW more people = improved life wow crazy how that works      - protect CULTURAL CORNERSTONES of Stanford (CO-OPS, THE ROW, STUDENT ORGS)
2. CHAMPION EQUITY AND DISTRIBUTION OF OPPORTUNITY  - take Stanford from "who you know" to "what you know !!!"       - audit fellowship, grant, and research processes  - BRIDGE. THAT. GAP.       - survival guides, here are the spots that everyone will be hanging out, how to study for a final, think notes from the farm but comprehensive - I am no mathematician (3 dig. subtraction is a struggle) BUT UNDERSTANDING OF PROCESSES + HELD ACCOUNTABLE = OPPORTUNITY ALLOCATION BY MERIT 🎉
3. BRIDGE STUDENT AND ADMIN GAP - "my name is Rahm I am a senator in ASSU here is what I am doing and why" <- me in 3 months - establishment of an ed discussion type anonymous forum to field student concerns and suggestions - creating space for direct, structured dialogue between students and administrators - FORCING STANFORD TO RECONCILE ITS STATED POLICY OF NEUTRALITY WITH STUDENT DEMANDS
