Stanford Sky
The Sky is the Limit.
Each person in the Class of 2029 brings something beautifully different to the Farm. Creativity, drive, compassion, and servitude are just a handful of strengths we possess, making Stanford a place of vibrant culture. We embrace this diversity and understand that we’re all united under one sky. We know the sky is truly the limit for what we can achieve, and even more so, for what we can achieve together.
There is a true significance in the moments we share together, whether that be the late-night adventures around niche parts of campus or the early morning lock in hours, because they demonstrate how much we can achieve when we unite as a community. Alongside the ASSU and their policy-forward initiatives, as Class Presidents, we are determined to cultivate deep connections and amplify class spirit.
But at the forefront of our goals is the understanding that we as Stanford students work extremely hard, so it’s important that we PLAY EVEN HARDER. So enough with the formality, let’s get lit.

From the Ground, to the Sky - honoring tradition and creating new ones
Social events:
Sunset on the Dish – Kick off the year with a class hike to the dish for a beautiful sunset, music, and time to reconnect with the class!
Maus Party @ the Mausoleum – Celebrate halloweekend with live music performed by Stanford students, snacks and candy, and costumes galore. The night is young, so let’s party with Leland.
Stanford Splash Tour – Fountain hopping doesn’t only have to happen during NSO. Bring your floaties, sunscreen, and water guns for the ultimate fountain hopping extravaganza that will end at Lake Lag.
Tailgates – Let’s run back Big Game tailgate but for other sports too! Cardinal red, face paint, and your Stanford spirit are your ticket into these tailgates. And don’t worry, we’ll have hot dogs!
It’s the 29th of the Month – Have you ever wanted to wear your bathrobe to class? Fake a proposal with your friend? On the 29th of every month, the sophomores will have a challenge to complete. Think Scav Hunt, but for the entire year, with the most creative winning a prize.
Sophomore Formal – A memorable class formal with a theme chosen by YOU. An evening filled with music, photos, and celebration!
MakeAMarket @ White Plaza – An outdoor student marketplace where sophomores can buy and sell art, clothes, and food alongside local vendors and businesses. A great way for us to promote sustainability efforts across campus!
Outdoors @ the Oval– Let’s turn the Oval into a social hub with outdoor movie nights, games, and pop up activities where we can relax and make memories.
The Sky’s Awake @ OnCall Cafe – Free OnCall drinks and an opportunity to meet someone new in our class!
-
Academic/Pre-Professional events:
Peer Pilot Program – The grind never stops, so let’s lock in together. Student-led group study sessions that are open to everyone, creating a collaborative space where sophomores can learn and succeed together.
Meet and Greet Panels – Organized meetings with professors/faculty, club representatives, sports teams, alumni, field professionals, and more for us to get to know the people on our campus and connect with those in our community.
Skyward Bound – An event where you can get your resume edited, practice for an interview, and prepare for anything job/internship related.
Founders and Food - Have project/startup ideas? Looking for people to partner with? Introducing Founders and Food, a mixer event where you can meet people to partner with on your project and get involved with your classmate’s projects
Brain Break Days – Take a break from a stressful week during busy academic periods with free snacks/relaxation spaces, therapy dogs, and quick activities to recharge.
