Hello everyone!
My name is Hoyoon Song, and I am running to be one of your 15 senators! I am currently a Frosh Council member, where I have had the honor of a lifetime serving my class. But there is more work to do, and the change that Stanford needs must be addressed through ASSU!
Among many issues, one stands out:
We all feel the weight of Stanford’s costs, whether it's tuition, textbooks, or even grabbing a meal at Tresidder. With a tuition of more than $90K a year, it is hard to imagine paying even more for essential University services; But we do.
We deserve to get more out of what we pay, and together, we can push for real improvements!
Here is some of what I will be fighting for:
- Bookstore Discounts
- Recorded Lectures
- Cardinal Print Stipend
- Dining Dollars in more places
If you, like me, believe that Stanford should be more affordable and accessible, I would be honored to have your vote. You deserve leaders who listen, serve, and fight for your needs, and I pledge to be that leader.
