In recognition of the fact that very few of y’all care in the slightest about ASSU, that I have a megalomaniac streak that I would like to placate, and that this is true for most of us running, somewhere inside, I thought a little honesty and bluntness might be refreshing. With that in mind, I make the following commitments:
- Effectively no meaningful change in the day-to-day reality of your life here on campus;
- To do whatever I can with my power to maximize fun, for myself and others, unless for some reason I don’t feel like it;
- No funny business with the ASSU funds, that’s your money;
- None of the cliquish and negative BS that has been found before in ASSU, good vibes only;
- That I am coming to the table with no other preset agenda whatsoever, meaning:
- I will be totally open to discussion with any fellow student about any issue ASSU might be able to address, and that I will bring those concerns to the full body.
